Wells & van Tyn are bringing their powerful vocals, fiery violin and rhythmic guitar to the Durango Arts Center, Saturday, September 14^th for a concert benefiting the Durango Autumn Arts Festival.

Crossing multiple genres from Contemporary Folk to Musical Theatre to Gypsy, this new duo will offer their trademark narrative songwriting with stories ranging from unexpected love to accidental murder, to the secret life of senior citizens.

The unique teaming of Jeroen van Tyn, a classically trained musician and vocalist, with CV Wells, a self-taught singer/songwriter/guitarist, makes for an innovative and genre-bending partnership. The concert is advertised as the “Full theatrical show.” When asked what that means exactly, Wells said, “I wear a tutu and he wears a feather boa.” They feel that the Durango Arts Center theatre is the perfect venue to showcase their more dramatic, always moving, and sometimes humorous songs.
