A collaborative exhibit featuring work by members of Life Drawing Groups of The Durango Arts Center, The Eldorado Community Center, and Argos Studio Gallery from Santa Fe, New Mexico.
There is an element of many artists’ practice that never goes outside the studio. Figure drawing groups are found in almost any community, but only a very small percentage of work created in those settings is viewed by the public. Throughout history figurative studies have been integral to an artist’s understanding and expression of the human form. This exhibit brings many of these studies into the public eye, revealing an essential part of an artist’s practice.
