The Durango Arts Center is thrilled to announce the inaugural season of the 

DURANGO ARTS REPERTORY THEATRE. 

Have you ever want to hang out with your friends and put on a play? 

Want to be on the ground floor of a new theater company?  

Have you thought about “getting back onstage?”

Well now is the time!  

The Durango Arts Center is creating a brand-new theatre company that will have projects of all types throughout the year. Whether you are a theatrical veteran or brand new to the stage, there’s something for everyone all year long.  

True West, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), Belleville, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and The Rocky Horror Show are locked in as well as a brand-new play we’re workshopping, Theatre for Young Audiences, the 12th annual 10 Min PlayFest, our 2nd 24hr Theatre, Wish You Were Here postcard project, CLASSES, and more!

**First round of auditions will be held SATURDAY, MARCH 19TH from 11a-2pm and MONDAY, MARCH 21st from 6pm-9pm at the DAC. 

• Actors will need to audition for the company with a standard monologue package of 2 contrasting pieces totaling no more than 2 min. *Separate musical auditions for Rocky Horror will be held in the late summer. 
• Directors, Writers, Designers, Stage managers, etc, can submit a resume and letter about your theatrical experience and an interview will be scheduled separately. 

We are so excited to start this new company and give Durango and the surrounding communities even more theatrical creativity and options for everyone.
