Mechanical and Botanical: Works by Jody Boyer and Russ Nordman

Together the artists explore concepts of space and place through their respective practices.  Boyer's current work investigates the site-specific response to the natural world through the use of wet cyanotype, painting, and drawing.  Nordman's work is part of the ongoing project is called the “Iowa Combines”. Nordman travels to counties across his home state of Iowa to photograph the unique architecture, historical sites and distinct characteristics of each county.
