Why do I collect?

Squirreling away objects and materials, mostly natural, some human-made.

Things that appeal to my imagination

Dolls and marbles when I was a little girl

Shells and stones, living by the seashore

Bark, rocks, lichen, moss from the forest

Things to inspire and use as source.

Things to glue to paper

Things to sew to paper

Things to include in paper

Things to encase in a box

Things to just have and look at

Things to be stored in cabinets and boxes

Until they are chosen to help tell my story
